How scary is Z?
The imaginary friend "Z" delivers some creepy and frightening scenes. And it is convincing enough to makes us believe it is really there. Content collapsed. It's no Babadook or even 'Toby' from Paranormal Activity but it plays alot like The Babadook, perhaps a little bit too much.
Is Z 1969 a true story?
The film presents a thinly fictionalized account of the events surrounding the assassination of the democratic Greek politician Grigoris Lambrakis in 1963. With its dark view of Greek politics and its downbeat ending, the film captures the director's outrage about the junta that then ruled Greece.
